Review Summary from External Sites

Guests consistently praise the exceptional sleep quality, noting how the beds perfectly contour to the body. The softness of the Imabari towels and the inclusion of high-end amenities like SEKKISEI skincare products are highlighted as pleasant touches of luxury. Bathrooms are reported to be recently renovated and spotless, adding to the sense of comfort. The dinner receives high acclaim, with several reviewers enjoying the affordable yet flavorful sea bream dishes such as kabutoni (simmered head) and kamameshi (rice pot), calling the experience “great value for money.” The laundry facilities also earn positive remarks for their spaciousness and efficiency, especially appreciated by long-distance travelers. Finally, the staff’s warm, courteous service leaves a lasting impression, making the hotel memorable for its hospitality as much as its amenities.

We asked Hotel Kikusui Imabari to stay tonight. Special plan (reserved room) 1 night, 2 meals: 8,800 yen Dinner is a mini kaiseki “Hana course” using Kurushima sea bream.
2 dishes, steamed sea bream helmet with Takaraku sake (fluffy), 3 types of local fish sashimi including sea bream, chilled beef shabu-shabu, deep-fried puffer fish (hot), freshly cooked sea bream fries and soup bowl for volume Full marks. For breakfast, I chose Japanese food with freshly made omelets and grilled fish.
Of course, staying without meals is also OK. You can borrow a bicycle from the hotel for eating out or shopping. I went to Imabari Castle.
There is a unit bath in each room, but if you make a reservation at check-in, you can occupy a large family bath for 5 people for 50 minutes free of charge.
Above all, the smiles and customer service of the staff made a good impression on me.
