There is no TV in the room, but on the contrary, I think it was good that I could concentrate on my trip. The meal was gorgeous, and I was able to nourish my spirit for Shosan-ji the next day. Very clean and comfortable.

★★★★ (4 out of 5 stars)

I stayed here as a lodging option just before heading from Fujii-dera to Shosan-ji Temple. To put it simply, it was an excellent place to stay. The room and bath were clean, and the meal, which was skewered and fried dishes when I stayed, was delicious. They checked for any food dislikes or allergies, which was very considerate. In the room, there was a handmade guidebook for tackling Shosan-ji Temple, and by referring to it, I was able to envision the hike and complete it in 3 hours and 50 minutes. The host and hostess gave me valuable advice, which was very helpful. When I left, their son provided me with refreshments, which revitalized me during the tiring mountain hike. I definitely want to stay here again.

They let us stay with them on October 16th during the Tokushima Ikkokuuchi pilgrimage. I am 82 years old and my husband is 86 years old, and this was my first time walking the pilgrimage. Before leaving home, we had only booked accommodation for four days. We had planned accommodation after that, but they also considered it together with us. They gave us valuable advice, which made things much easier after that. We are grateful that we were able to complete the pilgrimage safely.
We were also happy to receive candy from your son. Thank you very much.
