A Warm Homestay Built from Gratitude for the Pilgrimage Culture
Perched on a hillside with distant views of the sea, Lilian Guesthouse is a lovingly renovated traditional Japanese home. Opened by a former pilgrim who once received generous osettai (acts of kindness) along the way, the guesthouse was born from the owner’s heartfelt desire to “give back.”

With only three Japanese-style rooms, the space offers a tranquil, home-like atmosphere. Amenities include a refrigerator, microwave, shared washing machine and dryer, and free Wi‑Fi. Whole-house rental is also available upon request. Located within walking distance of Seiryū-ji Temple and the ferry terminal, it’s easy to drop off your luggage and walk unburdened to the next site.

Greetings from the owner

This is an inn that was started by the owner who once received entertainment and benefits during the pilgrimage. Please rest your mind and body.
Opened in January 2020 as “Ohenro Guest House Lilian”.
For me, the pilgrimage is “support for the heart.”
This inn is also a way to give back to pilgrim culture, and we hope that it will be a place where pilgrims can rest and heal their tired bodies.
Also, I hope that it will be a place of relaxation for those who come to Tosa City, even if they are not on the pilgrimage.
We look forward to welcoming everyone.

I used it on my walking pilgrimage. On the way to No. 36 Shoryu-ji Temple, I was able to leave my luggage and go back and forth in light clothes. Thanks to the owner’s thoughtfulness and equipment for the pilgrimage, it is a comfortable space where you can heal your fatigue. It is perfect for foreigners, and it is often used not only by pilgrims but also by fishing trips. In addition, it is a favorite recommended guest house that I want to stay next time.

The pilgrim inn “Lillian” is run by a very kind mother.
It is close to the ferry terminal in about 8 minutes,
A convenience store is also nearby, so it’s very convenient!

I received a summer greeting card from Guest House Lilian in Usa🌈
