Located at the foot of No. 45 Iwaya-ji Temple, I could leave my luggage and go up and down the stairs to the temple.
The building of the inn looks new, but the proprietress runs the inn alone, so her son, who has another job, was helping out at the inn.
I couldn’t find a hair dryer in the room, so I asked if there was one, and they gave me one. There are some things that are not well taken care of, but the proprietress also does farm work, so I thought, “It’s not a ryokan or a hotel, it’s a guest house, so it’s like this.”
The “simmered wild vegetables” for dinner was very delicious. I usually don’t even look at it, but it was enough to get a second helping.
When I told him that I was leaving before 6:00 in the morning, he made me a rice ball. The proprietress is a kind old lady who is a little hard of hearing.

– Close to No.55 Iwaya-ji Temple.
– Washing machine and dryer are available (300 yen for both).
– No Wifi
– No TV in guest rooms
– The facilities in the hotel are not well maintained.
– Old proprietress runs the hotel by herself.
She is deaf and has trouble communicating, and her language is rough, but she is full of hospitality.
