Arrived at Ebisuya at 1:50.After that, when we left our luggage and tried to head to the next temple, Shiramine-ji Temple, the ryokan asked us not to go back until 5:00.We took a taxi back. I told him that I would be fine because I was coming home, but Ebisuya was supposed to have dinner at 5 o’clock, and the guests who couldn’t make it weren’t allowed to stay. I was astounded at the attitude of prioritizing convenience. There was no such request when I made the reservation. If I had, I would not have made the reservation.
In the end, I couldn’t stay, so I asked him to go to a different inn, so I couldn’t stay.
Did you introduce me to a nearby hotel?
What if the other lodgings were full?
After that, the departure was delayed by 30 minutes due to the trouble.
I arrived at Shiramine-ji Temple at 4:30, then took a taxi back to the hotel at 5:15.
If it hadn’t been for that trouble, I would have made it in time.
Rather than that, is it okay for a hotel operator to kick out a guest who has made a reservation for that reason?
