A Serene Inn on a Hillside Overlooking the Pacific
Aomisaki Guesthouse is a peaceful inn perched on a hill in Matsuo, Tosashimizu City, offering sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. Surrounded by lush greenery, it provides a calming atmosphere reminiscent of forest bathing. Convenient for both sightseeing and pilgrimages, it’s just a 10-minute drive to Cape Ashizuri, making it an ideal base for travelers. The dinner options, including the “Shimizu Mackerel Plan” and “Spiny Lobster Plan,” feature local seafood and are especially popular. It was 9200 yen for a single room with morning and evening. The food was extravagant that you wouldn’t expect from a guesthouse, and everything was delicious. The proprietress likes to talk and is a very fun person. The area around the water is also beautiful. Toilets and washrooms are separated for men and women. For the pilgrims, the proprietress prepares bento for lunch. The pilgrims can pick you up and drop you off. This is an inn that you can recommend with confidence.
