User Review Summary (from external sites)
Some visitors noted that “the rooms can be small” and “you may be assigned a room without windows,” but overall impressions are positive. Guests appreciated the cleanliness and “the cozy, homey atmosphere.” For walking pilgrims, the care extended was especially memorable, with reviews mentioning “they helped with laundry” and “I was thankful for the osettai hospitality.” Although the building shows its age, it is widely seen as a “warm and welcoming place to stay” that offers peace of mind.

When returning from Kongofuku-ji Temple, I thought it was an inn in an exquisite position.
There are good rooms and bad rooms, and I was in a small room with no windows and nothing else.
You can do your laundry at the reception.
