Although it is a long way from the entrance to Kakurin-ji Temple, I heard that you can request a shuttle service if you call when you arrive at the foot of Kakurin-ji Temple or the edge of the road at 7am in the morning.
★★★★ (4 out of 5 stars)
It has a unique atmosphere that is neither a Shukubo(=Temple inn) nor a guesthouse nor a business hotel.
It feels like home, both in a good way and in a bad way.
I was surprised that I was asked about meal times at the reception, but it seemed like it was just a formality.
“I can do it from 6pm…” I told them my desired time, but it seemed like everything was ready at once by 6pm.
The size of the room and the large public bath overlooking the courtyard were good.
There’s no harm in staying the night.
