User Review Summary (from external sites)
The inn is highly praised for its convenient location and thoughtful services tailored to pilgrims, including free laundry, Wi-Fi, shared fridge, and bicycle rentals. Many say the homemade meals were delicious and filling, and they felt recharged. The rice ball “osettai” provided at checkout is appreciated as a meaningful touch. Though the building is older, the cleanliness and the warm reception make it a relaxing and dependable inn for walkers.

We stayed on the second day of the pilgrimage.
When I decided to walk to Kamoshima to do some shopping, they kindly lent me a bicycle.
The food was home-cooked and had a lot of items to fill me up.
The people at the inn were all nice people with smiles, and I enjoyed talking with them.
Be sure to come here in front of Shosan-ji Temple! I recommend it as much as I can say.

It is an inn in a good location near Fujii-dera, where you can challenge the climb to Shosan-ji Temple the next day from early in the morning. I was welcomed by the owner’s warm hospitality, and I was able to ask a lot of information about the pilgrimage ahead. I still have good memories of eating rice balls at Ryusuian on the way.

It is an inn that takes care of pilgrims. It is also the best location for heading to the pilgrimage the next day, and it is understandable that it is very popular.

I stayed here on the second day of my pilgrimage. I arrived early at around 2pm after visiting Fujidera, but they were happy to check me in. They also helped me with advice on the route I would be walking the next day.
They lent me a bicycle, so I went around the supermarket and took a bath after 3pm. As others have said, dinner started at 5:30pm and was very satisfying with the Tokushima home cooking, which was hearty and rich in protein.
After dinner, I took a second bath, did some laundry (100 yen for the washing machine, 200 yen for the dryer), went to bed, ate at 6am the next morning, and checked out at around 6:50am. (Because it was winter and the sunrise was around 7:10am)
If you want, they will prepare a rice ball lunch for you for 300 yen.
I passed Fujidera around 7am and arrived at Shosan-ji just before 11am. Despite my legs being worn out, I managed to get over the mountain pass and made it to Dainichi-ji just in time for 4:30pm. Thank you very much.
