The inn is praised for having multiple laundry machines and dryers, making it dependable for long stays. Guests highlight the individually served shabu-shabu and sukiyaki as “deeply satisfying after a tiring day,” with the quality of the meals leaving a lasting impression. Features like sliding doors, spacious baths, and strong showers also earn points for comfort and usability, with several comments stating, “The building is new and clean, and very comfortable.” Some reviews note the staff’s interaction as modest, but many still say, “While it doesn’t have a family-like atmosphere, it was cozy and easy to stay in.” Overall, the inn is seen as a “practical and reliable stop for pilgrims,” appreciated for both its functionality and comfort.
The facilities, including the building, are new and clean. In particular, the door to the room is a sliding type, so even if you handle it a little roughly, it won’t cause any noise, which is helpful. The bath is spacious and the shower pressure is good. Unfortunately, I didn’t really feel the hospitality of the staff as a service industry. Meal times are also set. I hope that it will improve a bit and become an inn that will continue for a long time.
★★ (2 out of 5 stars)
The hostess doesn’t often interrupt the conversations between the pilgrims, so some people may get the wrong impression, but it’s a very comfortable inn.
I am grateful that I can leave my luggage at the inn and go up to Yokomineji Temple. When I stayed for two consecutive nights, I had pork shabu on the first night and beef sukiyaki on the second night. It has a delicious taste that permeates your tired body.
Breakfast started at 6am and we were able to leave early at a time of our choice.
★★★★ (4 out of 5 stars)
I stayed here for two nights on a walking pilgrimage. I think it’s great that you can reduce the amount of luggage you need to carry when climbing to Yokomineji Temple. There are many washing machines and dryers, which is convenient. For dinner, there was a gas stove for each person, and we had shabu-shabu on the first night and sukiyaki on the second night. It was very delicious. It’s a great inn.
★★★★ (4 out of 5 stars)
This is a very pleasant pilgrim lodging.
★★★★★ (5 out of 5 stars)
Many guests seem to stay for two nights to visit Temple No. 60.
Foreign travelers also stay here, but with tatami rooms, futons, and a home-style bath, the hospitality is something even Japanese guests will appreciate.
