Many guests praise the hotel’s location, saying, “It’s walking distance to the station, bus center, shopping streets, and Uwajima Castle—super convenient.” The indoor parking lot is noted for being “safe from rain and secure.” Rooms are described as “spacious, with sofas, clean and relaxing.” Breakfast also receives positive reviews: “You can choose from Japanese or Western and even get seconds—it was delicious.” Staff service is highlighted with comments such as, “Smiling and polite,” and “They gave us great sightseeing tips.” Some modest critiques mention, “The building is a bit dated,” “There was a slight smell in the bathroom,” or “You can hear sounds from next door,” but overall, guests consistently say it’s “a great value stay that exceeds expectations.”
Although it is an old building, it is a normal hotel where you can stay just enough. The front desk staff is available 24 hours a day, and there is no curfew. There is a family mart about 3 minutes on foot. Around 8:00 p.m., only bars are open. “Taro Chaya Kamakura” on the 2nd floor offers authentic cuisine. The sea bream is exceptionally delicious, and the miso soup is the taste of Uwajima. microwave oven (free), smoking. Near the Uwajima Automobile Bus Center. Recommended for walking + bus pilgrims.
