We stayed at the New Year’s Eve walking pilgrimage.
The food was gorgeous, delicious and satisfying.
The facility was clean, and the hospitality of the staff was wonderful.
This place faces Uranouchi Bay, and you can also take a cruise ship, but on days when the cruise ship doesn’t move, the owner of the inn will send you a boat for a fee to take you to Yokonami’s dock.
When I called, I was told that due to the owner’s elderly parent, they are no longer able to provide meals and now only offer room-only stays.
I stayed here as a pilgrim in June 2026. It appears that the inn is run by a husband and wife, along with their adorable cat.
The inn seems to offer room-only accommodation, but they kindly provided transportation to and from a restaurant of my choice for dinner.
For breakfast, salad, bread, and coffee were prepared, and guests were free to help themselves. I was also allowed to use the kitchen and cooking utensils. I had purchased some ham beforehand and made myself a ham sandwich.
The facilities were modern and very clean. The interior décor—perhaps reflecting the proprietress’s personal taste—was charming and stylish, and I imagine it would be especially popular with female guests. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
